Who It’s For

Why Do This Course

Get Your First Office Job

Nothing on your CV yet? This covers what an office asks of you: clear emails, an organised desk, Word and Excel, and knowing where the money side sits.

Upskill For Your Current Role

Already on the desk? The diploma half moves you into customer relations, financial data and project management, which is the work that gets you noticed.

Study Around Your Life

It is online and self paced, with no exams, ever. You get 18 months of access and unlimited tutor support in business hours.

Where The Skills Fit

Where These Skills Could Take You

Administration sits inside every business there is, which is why the skills travel so well. The work is easy to picture: keeping the diary straight, sorting the paperwork, handling the people who walk in, and keeping a project moving.

Administration Coordinator

Holding an office together: procedures, diaries, paperwork and the small fires. The certificate half is aimed straight at it.

Business Support Officer

Supporting a team with reporting, records and the systems they run on, using the same Microsoft and accounting software.

Project Support Coordinator

The project management topic in the diploma is the groundwork for keeping timelines, budgets and people on track.

Executive Assistant

Communication, organisation and discretion. The skills here are the base, and most people build to it from an admin desk.

Office Manager

The later step. Desk experience comes first, and the payroll, accounts and workplace practice topics still count as you move up.

Roles where these skills are useful, not promised outcomes. Every role is different, and some need more study or experience. Manager and coordinator titles usually go to people with office experience behind them.

Good to Know

Common Questions

Do I need experience to start?

None needed. The pathway starts with business communication and office procedures, so you can come in with nothing behind you. If you are already on a desk, the diploma half is where the new ground is.

What does it cost each week?

The payment plan is $29 a week, with no deposit and no credit check. You can pay weekly, fortnightly or monthly, or pay upfront. Enquire for the full options.

How long does the course take?

Around 400 hours at your own pace, with 18 months of access. There are no set class times, so it fits around work and family.

Are there exams?

There are none, ever. You are assessed through practical workplace tasks, with tutor support behind you.

Will I learn enough Word and Excel for work?

Yes. There is a topic on each, plus PowerPoint, taught for the way an office uses them. You also cover Xero and MYOB Business Essentials for the accounts side.

Is this course accredited?

It is accredited by ICOES and the CPD Standards Office, which is accreditation for professional development. It is not NZQA accredited, so it is not a national qualification. That is a different thing. For administration work it is no barrier: what employers look for is whether you can run a desk and use the software.

Can I get my money back if it is not for me?

Yes. There is a 10-day money back guarantee. If it is not right, you get your money back.
