Who It’s For

Why Do This Course

Be The One Who Fixes The Spreadsheet

Every office has one person the broken formulas go to. Fixing formulas, time savers and Microsoft 365 features make that person you.

Step Into Reporting Work

Analyst and reporting roles run on lookups, pivot tables and pivot charts. The advanced certificate covers each one, step by step.

Start From Zero Without The Fear

You do not need to be confident in Excel before you start. The first certificate builds from entering data and basic formulas, at your own pace, with tutors behind you.

Where The Skills Fit

Where These Skills Could Take You

Excel work sits inside almost every office, and the people who can build the reports get handed the good problems. The day is easy to picture: pulling the data in, cleaning it up, building the pivot table, and sending out numbers people trust.

Excel Data Analyst

Turning raw data into answers, with lookups and pivot tables as your daily tools.

Business Analyst Assistant

Supporting analysis work, where preparing data for reporting carries the day.

Financial Reporting Assistant

Helping build the numbers reports, using calculations, formatting and pivot charts.

Operations Reporting Clerk

Keeping the operational reports up to date, accurate and on time.

Database Administrator Support

Supporting the data side, from importing files to keeping tables clean.

Systems Reporting Officer

Running reports out of business systems and shaping them in Excel.

Data Integrity Coordinator

Making sure the numbers are right, with sorting, filtering and cross checks.

Project Support Analyst

Backing a project team with the spreadsheets, trackers and reports they need.

Budgeting Assistant

Helping build and track budgets, with calculations and multiple worksheets in play.

Performance Reporting Technician

Building the recurring reports that show how the business is tracking.

Roles where these skills are useful, not promised outcomes. Every role is different, and some need more study or experience.

Good to Know

Common Questions

Do I need to be good at Excel already?

Not at all. The first certificate builds from entering data and basic formulas. You do not need to have used pivot tables before; you learn them step by step.

What does it cost each week?

The plan is $29 a week, with no deposit and no credit check. You can also pay fortnightly, monthly, or upfront in one payment. Enquire for the full options.

How long does the diploma take?

Around 90 hours at your own pace, with 6 months of access. There are no set class times, so it fits around work.

Is this one course or three?

One enrolment, one course. It is built as three certificates: Excel basics, then intermediate, then advanced. You work through them in order, at your own pace.

Are there exams?

There are none, ever. You are assessed on what you understand, with tutor support behind you.

Is this course accredited?

It is accredited by ICOES and the CPD Standards Office, which is accreditation for professional development. It is not NZQA accredited, so it is not a national qualification. That is a different thing. In office and reporting work, hiring runs on whether you can do the job in front of you.

Can I get my money back if it is not for me?

Yes. There is a 10-day money back guarantee. If it is not right, you get your money back.
