Who It’s For

Why Do This Course

Own the Reporting End

Xero reports and Excel analysis are the same job in two windows. This package puts both in your hands.

Get Xero's Own Certification

Finishing opens the Official Xero Advisor Certification, issued by Xero. That one carries weight outside the college.

Start From Wherever You Are

Beginner through to intermediate. No accounting, no bookkeeping and no maths confidence required.

Where The Skills Fit

Where These Skills Could Take You

Reporting is where software skill turns into something a business pays for. The work is easy to picture: pulling the numbers out of Xero, shaping them in Excel, and handing over something a manager can act on. Most graduates describe it as confidence rather than a career change.

Excel Reporting Technician

Building the sheets the rest of the office relies on.

Xero Reporting Specialist

Getting answers out of the ledger, not just entries in.

Reporting Automation Assistant

Cutting the manual steps out of a monthly report.

Performance Measurement Assistant

Tracking how the numbers move against the plan.

Roles where these skills are useful, not promised outcomes. Every role is different, and some need more study or experience. Analyst titles are usually gated behind a finance qualification or years on the job.

Good to Know

Common Questions

Do I need experience with either tool?

No. It is designed for beginners through to intermediate users, and no prior Xero or Excel knowledge is required.

What does it cost each week?

From $29 a week on a plan, with no deposit and no credit check. Or pay upfront. Enquire for current pricing.

How long does it take?

Around 130 hours of content with six months of access. Fully self paced, so you set the speed.

How does the Xero certification work?

The college is an official Xero Partner. On completion you receive Xero's own advisor certification, on top of your diplomas.

Do I need to be good at maths?

No. The page is clear on this. What you need is comfort with everyday business terms like invoices, bills and bank transactions.

Is there a work placement?

No. The hands-on learning happens through software exercises and workplace style scenarios.

Is this course accredited?

Both diplomas are accredited by ICOES and the CPD Standards Office, which is accreditation for professional development. Neither is NZQA accredited, so they are not national qualifications. Those are different things. The Xero Advisor Certification alongside them is issued by Xero.

What if I change my mind?

There is a 10-day money back guarantee from the day you enrol.
