This course covers the core principles of landscape and garden design through video lessons, studio-style critiques, and hands-on design tasks. Students build a practical portfolio as they progress, with no exams at any stage. Assessment is entirely portfolio-based.
Delivered by The Career Academy NZ, the course runs 100% online over six months of access, with around 80 hours of study. Two industry mentors, Clare Mackarness and Jim Fogarty, provide dedicated feedback throughout. Live workshops, Q&A sessions, and guest talks run throughout the year for additional support.
